Dear Marty,
I just learned of Ed’s passing from Brian Walker and I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Ed was a great man, a great realtor and a wonderful manager. More importantly though, he was kind and considerate and always trying to get us to be the best we could possibly be. I have often thought of many of the things Ed taught me about real estate and about life.
Just wanted you to know you and your families are in our thoughts and prayers and we all celebrate a life well lived in Edward H. Gallagher.
Love Jerry & Stacy McMahan

Dearest Marty,The best part of my Real Estate career.. Ed Gallagher.. I know you understand the feeling that I am having as on a personal and professional level, I lost my mentor in life.. When Ed walked into the room, i remember i just started smiling and hope he would make time to share with me all his words of wisdom.I was one of the lucky wons who took his words and wisdom to heart and jumped out of the box.. I have a very supportive family yet Ed reinforced all my hopes and dreams and threw in a few of his ideas and i just went with it..
He was a class act from the first day i met him at the Keystone office. I remember thinking why are we merging all these agents yet for me it wasn’t about that.. We got Ed Gallagher.
My lunches with Heather Pappas and Ed will be a wonderful memory filled with so much love amongst us and a great lunch and Ed always wanting to pick up the tab yet many times heather had the lunch already paid for. I was always sad when it was over.. And now no more of the words of wisdom, the lunches, etc.. Ed is just a memory.. My favorite one of all.. I am with you and look forward to seeing you in the next couple of months.. He just loved talking about you and all the cats.. My deepest sympathy and condolences to you and the family..

Just learned of Ed’s passing today.
We have been friends since our Shortridge High School days in the late 1940s. Ed sold us our first house. After a hiatus of many decades we had a chance to have lunch together a few times recently and it was great fun. What a charming friendly guy he was.
